Biotech Sales Lead (US Market – Contractor)

Company Overview

TECQMIND is an end-to-end AI professional services and staffing partner. We build the specialized teams and infrastructure required to turn technical potential into production-scale reality. In our Biotech division, we serve as the strategic bridge between world-class Taiwan-based biotechnology companies and the United States market, providing the talent and AI-driven oversight necessary for global success.

The Role

As a Biotech Sales Lead, you will be the primary US point of contact for our Taiwan-based biotech partners. Your mission is to acquire and grow high-value accounts within the US life sciences ecosystem. You will represent cutting-edge Taiwanese capabilities—ranging from drug discovery platforms and genomic services to CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing) capacity—to US pharmaceutical companies and biotech startups.

This is a contract position where you will be hired by TECQMIND to act as the US commercial arm for our specialized technology partners in Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities

  • US Market Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and close high-value partnerships with US-based biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

  • Consultative Selling: Understand the R&D and manufacturing bottlenecks of US clients and present tailored solutions involving our Taiwanese partners’ technical capabilities.

  • Global Liaison: Act as the strategic "translator" between US business expectations and Taiwan-based operational teams, ensuring technical requirements and timelines are aligned.

  • Value Proposition Design: Effectively communicate the "Taiwan + AI" advantage—leveraging TECQMIND’s AI infrastructure to show how our partners deliver faster, more precise results than traditional vendors.

  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Lead the process from initial outreach and technical discovery to contract negotiation and post-sale hand-off.

  • Conference & Event Presence: Represent TECQMIND and our Taiwan partners at major US biotech conferences (e.g., BIO International, JP Morgan Healthcare Conference).

Required Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering) is required. You must be able to hold high-level scientific conversations with CTOs and VPs of R&D.

  • Experience: 5+ years of B2B sales experience specifically in the Biotech, CRO, or CDMO sectors within the US market.

  • Proven Track Record: A documented history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas for complex, long-cycle technical services.

  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the US biotech landscape, including current trends in drug discovery, clinical trials, and outsourcing.

  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional ability to build trust with US-based decision-makers and navigate the cultural nuances of international business partnerships.

Highly Desired: Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual Proficiency: While not required (as the focus is the US market), fluency in Mandarin is a significant plus for facilitating direct communication with the technical teams in Taiwan.

  • AI/Digital Health Familiarity: Experience selling services that involve AI-driven discovery or computational biology.

  • Established Network: An existing "Rolodex" of contacts within US-based mid-to-large cap pharma or venture-backed biotech startups.
